Come explore London’s historic Victoria Park and the award-winning Woodfield heritage neighbourhood. This year's tour will take you into heritage houses between Queens Avenue and Hyman Street, a neighbourhood of beautiful historic buildings in a variety of styles and ages dating back as far as the mid-1800s. Your ticket includes guided interior tours of six private heritage homes.
Ticket price also includes refreshments and an informative keepsake guidebook featuring a map of this self-paced walk (approximately 2.5 hours). The Tour starts at historic London Central Secondary School at 509 Waterloo Street where you'll pick up your guidebook. Potted red geraniums donated by Parkway Gardens mark the homes open for interior visits - hence the name of our tour! Our 80+ volunteers will welcome you with warm smiles and a treasure trove of knowledge.
Our pop-up shop will have heritage publications available for purchase including Tour guidebooks from previous years so visitors can explore our city’s many other historic neighbourhoods on their own. Proceeds from this event - our signature fundraiser - go towards supporting our Heritage Scholarship, homeowner restoration grants, and heritage advocacy initiatives.
