Top 10 list: Two London groups have together identified what they consider the sites with the most questionable futures in the city
"A key player in the Forest City’s heritage lobby — the local branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario — has released its latest list of the Top 10 buildings in London “on the brink.”
“They’re not on the brink of falling down, that’s for sure. Their futures could be questionable,” said Maggie Whalley, past president of the London branch of the conservancy.
The group’s goal is not to preserve the structures as museum pieces, Whalley explained, but to see them back in regular use. The conservancy works in combination with the Heritage London Foundation.
